Is Working with Kathryn Right for You?
Facing a divorce or other legal family crisis is never easy. That’s why you need an attorney that you can relate to – someone who sees your perspective. Kathryn is not a stranger to the challenges of divorce, custody and parenting time (visitation). She understands how difficult the process can be. As a child of divorce, she can relate to your children's situation and feelings. As a divorcee (who is very happily remarried), she understands the challenges you are facing during this emotionally, physically and financially taxing time. She can also understand the need for closure and maintenance of court rulings once you have moved onto the next phase in life.
If you are a female in the midst of a divorce battle, having a female divorce lawyer, who has been in a similar situation, may put your mind at ease. She may be able to understand your perspective from her own experiences. The gender of your attorney is only truly significant in your perception. It should not affect the outcome of your case. Just like choosing a female doctor or a female dentist, you may be more comfortable with a female divorce lawyer. The gender of your legal representative is important if it makes you feel at ease. That’s why Kathryn is ready to offer you top-notch legal representation.
Have you considered mediation? In family mediation, parties have a chance to share their views in a safe environment and discuss important issues such as communication, separation, child custody, support and visitation, division of property and other family matters. Research shows that most parties are very satisfied with the mediation process, and are more likely to follow the results of mediation than court orders.
